So, dA actually went ahead and offered three options on the share links? I am literally shocked. I didn't expect that, to be honest. I thought we'd get the two and that would be it. So, to give credit where credit is due: thank you for listening, dA.

That being said, I'm still going to stand by my decision to no longer post my art here. While I am happy about the outcome and the fact that all the stress and upset we "rebels" went through was not as futile as I previously believed, the "battle" has left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm still left with broken trust and I don't know if there is an easy fix for that. The hq post about this calls the debate that took place "healthy." I disagree - it was anything but. Healthy debate is discussing things maturely and rationally without resorting to name-calling, profanity and ridicule. That is not what happened here. In fact, in seven years here, I have never been so insulted as I have been in the last few weeks.

The battle may have been won, but the damage has already been done to this community. Things were said that cannot be retracted, and I can't help but wonder what happens next time? And, there will be a next time. There always is.

And that as they say is that.

As for me, I've been trying hard to get myself out of the funk the recent negativity around here has caused. I'm easing myself back into writing and I hope to get back into drawing soon. Despite the double block, I have been inspired a lot lately. I have new original story ideas, character ideas, etc. I've also found myself very taken with sculpture lately, and I feel like it's something I would like do. I have played around with it in the past and I've always enjoyed it, though I would really like to find something other than clay. Me and clay just don't get along very well!

My website - it's coming along slowly, but I do have the writing and wallpaper section up and running. The two of those made up the majority of my dA gallery (there's also seven new fics and two new wallpapers and two recolors on my site that were never posted here. ) I'm still considering what to do about my drawings - I'm really thinking about starting over completely and not reupload my old works. I figure if I'm going to do that, now is the perfect time.

I've been having issues with my wisdom teeth lately, and to top it all off, I feel like I'm coming down with a cold, too. Not fun. Once I can get the rest up and running and things are not as hectic, I plan to redesign the site completely. I really want to make it fun and interactive and all that good stuff.
